Hi David! The general recommendation is 8 and up - there are dark moments in the show, but also lots of bright and cheery ones. If your daugher has watched the movie The Wizard of Oz and has gotten used to those characters, this would probably be about the same level of scariness. If she are overly frightened at the movie, you may not want to bring her to the show. You can remind her that these are many of the same characters from the movie, and while the witch and her monkeys may be scary, it's important to remember that just like in the movie, the people on stage are pretending and telling us a story, and it is not real. Hope that helps!

Question: we have an extra ticket and may allow our 4th grader to go... she is 8 years old. Is this Wicked production suitable for an 8-yr old girl with normal personality (average fear and average nightmares)... OR will she even understand much of what she'll see? We know our older (14) daughter will do fine... just needed some guidance about bringing 'baby sister'....

Thanks
